KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL GARDEN

The world-renowned Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is considered one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain in Cape Town. It covers an area of 528 hectares, of which 36 hectares are cultivated. It was founded in 1913 by Professor Pearson. You can find both small cultivated beds full of flowers and herbs, as well as original forest covering the slopes of Table Mountain. Since its founding, only plants that occur exclusively in South Africa have been planted here. There is a suspended bridge where you can observe life in the treetops, and you will also find many plants and trees that are not found anywhere else in the world. Kirstenbosch Garden is a pride of South Africa.

You can easily spend a large part of the day here. The garden is a very pleasant place for walks or picnics. There are two charming restaurants, art exhibitions are held here, and from November to Easter, you can attend popular or classical music concerts every Sunday.

There is an Entrance fee into the garden (cca USD 15/pp).
